International students

The Royal College of Music is home to a truly international community. Around half of our students come from outside the UK and we currently have people from more than 55 different countries studying here.

Our professors come from across the world too, bringing with them a wealth of experience and expertise. This global community makes the RCM a friendly, exciting and diverse hub of music-making. The RCM's excellence was recognised by the 2021 QS World University Rankings, in which we ranked top institution for performing arts in the UK for the sixth consecutive year and top in Europe for the second year running.

Our Registry and Student Services staff provide advice and support for international and EU students across a range of areas including visas and immigration, living and working in the UK, financial advice and how to make the most of your time here.
